Prenatal Lactation Services

Confidence in Feeding Starts Before Birth.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 60% of mothers stop breastfeeding sooner than they intended. We don't want this to be your experience!

Feeling confident and prepared to feed your baby starts before birth. Our prenatal lactation consultations are led by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) who offer expert, compassionate guidance tailored to your goals, preferences, and medical history.

Whether you're planning to breastfeed, pump, combo-feed, or just want to learn what to expect, a prenatal visit can ease anxiety and help set the stage for a smoother, more empowered feeding experience.

Benefits of Prenatal Lactation Support:

  • Personalized education on feeding options and newborn behavior.

  • Guidance on latch, positioning, and how to know baby is getting enough.

  • Support for medical considerations (e.g. PCOS, breast surgery, diabetes)

  • Tools to prepare for common challenges and how to prevent them.

  • Goal setting based on your unique preferences and lifestyle.

  • Partner involvement and support strategies.

  • Guidance on breast pump selection and personalized flange fitting.

  • Continuity of Care --- you’ll already have a trusted support person ready to guide you postpartum, someone who knows your goals and your story.
